Fitness Chains Unite Under a New Name: Sporty

Some of Norway's leading and most recognized fitness chains — Family Sports Club, Aktiv Trening, Aktiv365, and Sporty24 — are joining forces under a new, unified name: Sporty.

Although the chains already share the same ownership, the name change marks an important step toward a more cohesive and comprehensive fitness experience for our members. With nearly 90 fitness centers and over 110,000 members, Sporty is ready to establish itself as a national player with broad accessibility for the Norwegian population.

The new Sporty aims to make fitness simpler, more accessible, and more inspiring for everyone. Bringing the chains together under one brand will enable members to access a larger network of fitness centers with a more extensive range of offerings — from state-of-the-art training facilities to digital health services.
